BLOG No. 29 ~ GARY WOLFSTONE

A Visit to Gig Harbor, Washington

Arnold & Metha Rolfsrud

GREETINGS Friends and Family from our high rise apartment in downtown Seattle, Washington. I am composing this blog in the wee hours of the morning, July 6, 2018, to memorialize our friendship with two of the finest people whom I am calling "friends" ... Metha and Arnold Rolfsrud in Gig Harbor, Washington.

The Rolfsruds live in a beautiful home which is bordered by a unique garden with a man-made creek and fountain in the Canterwood development. They met us at the Bremerton Ferry terminal and gave us a tour of their environs including a quaint little boat harbor in downtown Gig Harbor. We spent the night in their guest bedroom and accompanied them to Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church for morning services. Before returning to the Ferry, we enjoyed an old fashioned country breakfast (bacon, eggs and hash browns) and agreed to meet again to tour the Nordic Heritge Museum in Ballard a few days later.

The Rolfsruds have two daughters and three amazing grand children. They travel frequently to the East Coast to see their daughter in NYC and to see their second generation offspring. One grandson is now entering an eight year medical school program leading to a Phd and an MD. The other grandson has graduated with a degree in Computer Science and has accepted employment with a major "dot.com" Their grand daughter is embarking upon a graduate program in California. Truly remarkable people!

Kulta and I are fortunate to have friends who are accomplished, generous and wise.

Respectfully, Gary L. Wolfstone, Seattle Trial Lawyer
