I am proud of my record of constancy: for more than 50 years I have had the same CPA; for more than 50 years I have had the same bank; for more than 50 years I have had a perfect score with ET&E(credit); for more than 50 years I have had the same family; for more than 50 years I have maintained full and continuous membership in two bar associations as a practicing lawyer; and for more than 50 years I have had the same valued friends.
For more than 50 years I do not smoke; I do not drink alcoholic beverages; and I walk at least six miles every day. I have never been convicted of a crime. I have never been accused of mishandling or misappropriating money. I have never had a fee dispute with a client. My Trust Account has never been audited by the Bar Association. For more than 50 years I have kept a handwritten record (in a book I call The Doomsday Book) of every legal fee that I have ever earned as a practicing lawyer. I have never been treated by a psychiatrist or psychologist or mental health care professional.

I have succeeded at everything I have ever done. Au contraire, my detractors would say I have also failed at everything I have ever done.
With great enthusiasm, I sally forth. Providence has smiled upon me. I am a forward scout in the wilderness of the legal profession. To most of my clients, I am the hope amid the horror. My faith is strong, and I still believe that the human race is worth saving.
